Snakes!!

Just yesterday when Carter was getting off the bus we found a baby snake! Little tiny thing. So with the help of our cat, Fuzzy (he was trying to play with it like a string) I caught it! I convinced the kids it was too small to bite, so they each took turns holding it. YUP! all three of them ;) Our little Ryker did quite the number on it...

She was being so brave! Very proud of this little one.

This is Carters first year of soccer and he is loving it! He is a year behind but picked it up so darn quickly! This is truly the funnest age to watch. They all just run around wild kicking no matter which way the ball fly's. Carter plays great everywhere. Incredible Goalie, when he pays attention. He scored once and blocked every ball that came his way, he even dove to stop the ball then summersaulted with the ball after. Pretty impressive, but I think thats what he was going for ;) Everytime the ball start coming his way, you have to yell at him to get ready. He is so funny!

Angels Amoung Us

Today started out as any other day; scriptures, family prayer, get kids ready and off to school, feed and play with Ryker till he goes down then CLEAN! Just as I was loading Ryker into the truck to take Chasee her homework she had left on the table, my sweet husband asked me to drive into town to go to lunch with him. So off we went! We stopped by the school, took Chasee her homework, waved to Carter in his classroom on our way out, it totally made his day (which in turn made mine :). Dropped the movie off at the rental store, and headed into town. When we got to WW Peppers I noticed my phone was missing! We looked in the truck, called the school (thinking I may have left it on the counter when I signed in) and NOTHING. Oh well, I must have somehow set it down before I climbed into the truck. I decided we weren't going to worry about it while we had lunch. After, I ran a couple errands, the lady's were so helpful and nice at Hobby Lobby! They even gave me 40% off after I forgot my coupon at home. I was so grateful to them! On my way home I decided to go the highway instead of the freeway and stop by the lumber store to grab wood for our next class. The guy who helped me was incredible! Dug through the entire pile of wood to find the best cuts, then he went above and beyond and measured and cut wood which saved me a whole lot of work! My day was going great! With 20 minutes to get back I pulled onto the highway to head home and I heard the strangest noise! I let off the accelleration and the noise stopped. Not wanting to stop, because I wanted to get home in plenty of time for the kids to be dropped off, I accelerated just to see if the noise was still there. YUP! So I knew I had no choice but to pull over. Just as I was pulling off I realized my tire was going FLAT. I noticed a road and turned right onto it. A wave a panic rushed through me as I realized I DIDN'T HAVE A PHONE! Right on the corner was a business. I turned in, hoping I could use their phone and thinking it would be safer to change the tire in the parking lot. I ran in and the front desk lady was amazing! I called Dustan to come fast to change the tire. Knowing the kids will be getting off the bus soon, she found me a phone book and I started calling neighbors, NO ONE WAS HOME! I didn't have my phone so I didn't have anyones cell phone number and had no way of getting a hold of anyone! I called to school so they could radio the bus driver and let them know I wasn't home, NO ANSWER. I called First Bus, to have them radio the Bus Driver and they couldn't get a hold of him, I had no one else to call... I called Dustan again to find out how far he was just as a lady came out of her office (ready to go home) and offered to take me somewhere. I thought, that would be great except how would i get back to the truck with 3 kids and no car. Dustan answered and was well on his way but still far out. I broke down in tears. I was so lost on what to do. Home was still 10 minutes away, my kids were getting off the bus and I had felt I completely failed them. The lady then offered to take me to my house and then bring me back. I had no other choice but to let her. We loaded the car seat and set off. When we pulled up Carter and Chasee were in the door way watching, As I ran to the door Chasee broke down in tears. Carter assured me they were perfectly fine. He also let me know they didn't get out any toys or make a mess while i was gone, I laughed. As put their shoes on, I noitced my phone randomly sitting on the grass by the front door, grabbed it and we left. I thanked the lady repeatedly, she was such a life savor. She took us back and headed home. I don't know what I would have done with out these two amazing ladys. Or with out my Heavenly Father watching over me. That flat could have happened anywhere along the way home with no businesses around. And if we were on the freeway, it could have been a major accident. I Truly feel this was one of HIS Tender Mercies. I feel so blessed, and so grateful to him and his Angels who were so willing to help me through this Almost Disaster.
I can honestly say I feel our family has been so very blessed, beyond our understanding of why. We have faced so many obsticles and through every single one HE has carried us. I am so thankful to our Heavenly Father.

SCHOOL DAYS

The kids are all back to school now! Carter's in the First Grade and Chasee's in Kindergarten. We got so lucky with who their teachers are and are so happy with them! I will have to admit I had a little week of depression once they started going and Dustan being back at work. It was a dramatic change for me! But Ryker made sure to fill the void for me, and fast- He is now into everything!!!

The kids are thrilled about what they are learning and all the fun new changes and I am so please to hear all about it the second they step off that bus! Thank heavens for the bus!

Chasee's Party!!!

Our sweets little baby girl is now 5! Like Carter she celebrated it more than once! We had a double party with her and her cousin Khorben, and they LOVED it!! She had the cutest invites (cause she is the cutest!), and they had so much fun!! Her theme was "fairy's" and she was a beatiful fairy!!!

We love you baby girl! We are so blessed to have you in our family!!

My sweet little Carter is so BIG! He has out grown 2 bikes already, we had NO idea how we would teach him to ride a bike this year. We searched yard sales and Craigs list for weeks! Luckily Grandma and Grandpa Denton swooped in and saved the summer! Carter got got his bike, and 2 days later was on it learning how to ride! HE IS AMAZING!!!

He is still practicing, but does it all on his own! I am so proud of him!

Easter!! and the Cats.

So we had lots of plans for spring break and NONE of them worked out!!! It started as we were headed to the slot on Friday, but dad couldn't get off work, its a six hour drive and he, mom, and jen would end up driving home Saturday afternoon right after the big hike. PLUS it was supposed to be horrible weather and we'd be camping. So we decided if they are driving 12 hours they might as well just come to Junction and stay an extra night, in doors. Dustan also had a couple FINAL projects for his Masters Program due. My heart was broken a little because I was absolutely Stoked about slots but oh well, why make every one suffer for me.
So instead, I planned out Saturday to the Max! Carters baseball game started at 8:00 and this way everyone could come watch him play! After we would pack up lunches snacks and an Easter candy bag for every one and go hiking, picnic, and then our traditional hunt! and for dinner, fire pit in the back yard with tin foil dinners and Smoore :)
Guess what! IT RAINED!!!!! The whole stinking day! We did get to hide Easter candy bags in the yard and made it impossible for Jennee and their friends to find theirs, But they all still had a BLAST! Even though they all were sad about the hike. My kids expecially LOVE hiking. And even though the sprinkling never stopped, Grandpa and Dustan lit a fire anyway for the kids :) With those two event and a day full of card games, I have to say it turned out REALLY GOOD! I LOVE EASTER! Sunday my parents left and we went to church with Dustans family, which was really nice because everyone was there. After church we stayed at his parents the rest of the day and we hid and re-hid the eggs that they dyed over and over and over! Its seriously their favorite thing to do!

Chasee's Easter bag was under all these bricks by the play house... Carter "helped" her find it.

Its raining again...

Ha ha, this is Jennee's friend Kenna, we hid her bag in the tree bark and covered it with more bark! We had to give her Loads of hints and play "hot and cold" so she could find it :)

Kody found his fast but he had to climb high to get it! My daddy is holding Chasee's cat 'Fuzzy', he is seriously the stupidest cat in the world! not kidding, and the clumsiest thing, but by far the most tolerant and loving one I have ever seen, the kids burry it and dump grass on it, haul it every where they go. And he LOVES every second of it.

This is 'Camo'! Carters cat! He just LOVES Carter! can be so flippin onry with me but is so protective over every member of the family! It is so funny. Carter is outside playing everyday, rain, wind, snow, or sunshine, and this cat is always at his side. The other day me and Ryker were out side and Ryker started crying, Camo popped up, ran over to him to check on him and Ryker stopped crying (he is so interested in the cats) once Camo saw he was ok, he turned around to go lay back down. Ryker started crying again, when he saw the cat was leaving, and Camo came right back. Then the other day we walked over to the neighbors and they have a cute hyper little black lab puppy, and it starter to follow and jumping up trying to play with Chasee. Chasee is scared of most dogs, never this one till now, it scared her to death! She thought he was attacking her or something, so she started running in circles, crying and screaming, while it thought she was playing, Camo heard her screaming, ran over and attacked the dog!!! Funniest thing I have ever seen! Best protector ever!!

Dinosaur Museum

Carter and Chasee LOVE the Dinosaur Museum! It is there favorite place to go other than bananas! This last time they got to take Owen, one of Carters best friends. They had so many activities and events going on, it was so much fun! They even had LIVE birds! Huge parrots and all. I learned that they found T-Rex DNA in a chicken!

At first the kids were a little nervous of this parrot BUT before we left Chasee asked if she could give him a giant hug! It was cute.

This is where they got to pick a skeleton of their favorite dinosaur and cover it with clay for the skin. For some reason Carter decked his out in feathers and Chasee put stars all over her. My creative babies :)

Carter has absolutely LOVED baseball! He now hits the ball everytime he is up! He has had two black eyes and not the least bit scared of the ball! He is on a young team and they are 1-5, but he doesn't care! They are learning tonz and having a blast! Gooooooo Dodgers!

Saturday, Carter had his first (practice) game. He is so excited to play machine pitch this year! We put him in a little early but he got too bored in tee ball :) He plays for the Dodgers and is number 5. Both Jennee's softball and Jaces baseball number, and he loves that he shares in this. Today he caught a ball while playing outfeild, and hit 3/4 times hes was up. (all foul balls but his bat was too heavy) Were hoping to get him a new bat this year.

We had a blast this year for Spring Break! We stayed here in Colorado and spent the whole week together as a family. Went on hikes almost everyday. Banana's, the movies, and even a treasue hunt!

This year was such an exciting year for Carter when it came to his birthday! We celebrated Carters birthday 3 times! He is our New Years baby and were in Utah over his birthday (New Years) so we had a little party with my side of the family :)We let him open all of his present while we stayed up New Years Eve! He thought that was super neat. When we came home, Dustan's side of the family through him a great surprize party with dinner and cake.

Carter also wanted to have a party with all of his friends this year! So we invited some of the kids he plays with and his ENTIRE preschool class so we could get to know some of the kids and their parents for future play dates.
He chose McDonalds! We had to wait till the end of the month to throw it. 25 kids showed up!! Way more than we ever expected. It actually made me very proud of Carter. It just goes to show Carter is so nice to everyone that it was important to them they be there.

Happy Birthday son! We love you so dearly! It is such a blessing to have you as ours!

Christmas!

Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year! My heart is always overwhelmed with feelings of Love and Appreciation, for all I have. Being surround by the spirit, Family and loved ones is by far the greatest joy we can feel! And the food is always amazing! ;)

Each December we have Elves popping in and out of our House! They always leave a clue for the kids that lead to a Christmas book! Every once in a while they leave us a treat instead! So for Family Home Evening's we got to bake and create all sorts of fun Holiday Treats! We had the most fun with the Snowmen and Gingerbread houses!

This year we spent the week leading up to Christmas and Christmas here in Colorado at "Nana's and Pompa's" house. We all had such a great time! The best part for the kids was getting to sleep next to the tree with Nana!

Santa definately spoiled us this year! We even caught a few pictures of him... just dont tell ;) The kids LOVED seeing these!

The kids made Dustan a mug! And drew all over it! Cutest thing ever! Even Ryker added his own art work to it!

A few days after Christmas we headed to Utah. We had such a wonderful time visiting with family. We celebrated New Years Eve and Carters Birthday with my parents. And my sweet little nephew Jaxon was Baptised Jan 01, 2011, the same day as Carter's Birthday!!

Temple Sealing and Ryker's Birth!

Most of you have read how our sealing finally happened, if not the story is below. We have been so blessed! And Ryker is so healthy and wonderful!! I am suffering from no sleep, and some days are harder than others but I love our family!!!
November 12, 2010
When we first got the call from the first presidency, we were so nervous we wouldn't make it home before the baby was born. We rushed to Utah the very next day in hopes that Ryker would be born in the covenant. My poor mother had just arrived in Colorado (6 hour drive) when we told her we were driving right back to Utah the very next morning. I had already been to the hospital that week with contraction and with Chasee it only took 45 minutes (barely made it to the hospital-not even enough time for drugs or a Doctor). So we knew I went fast! We chose Manti because not only is it my home town and favorite temple, but I knew the Doctors there too, just in case! It was one of the closer temples too (only 3 1/2 hours) We read every bit of information we could on self delivery and Jan-aka-Nana (Dustans mom) Packed the kit and sterile supplies just in case, and off we went! Luckily he was kind to me and we made it home!

November 18, 2010
Knowing how fast I go we decided I had just better be "started" instead of risking having the baby born in the car on the way to the hospital. Good thing too because with in 5 minutes of them breaking my water, he was Bearing Down! I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't done it that way!!! Especially because when Ryker came out, the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, and HE WAS BLUE! Thank Heaven my doctor was amazing and fast!!!!

We are so very blessed to have such a wonderful spirit in our home, bringing our family closer together!

Born into the Covenant because of a Miracle!

It is amazing to us how much our Heavenly Father watches out for each and every individual. He has clearly helped carry Dustan and I through the last few years. From the beginning, we are able to recognize the Lord’s hands in our life. By strange events we both ended up in Grand Junction around the same time. We actually both attended the singles ward for the first time on the same Sunday and we walked in at the exact same time in doors just opposite of each other (we were each the first person either of us saw). We were married a year later on June 26, 2009.

Knowing we had to wait a year to be sealed together and that a Temple Cancellation was a long and hard process, we kept in touch with the bishop and took what steps we could. Somewhat of a setback came in March of 2010, learning that instead of being able to go through the temple a year from the date we were originally married, we couldn’t even submit the papers for the temple cancellation until it had been a year. So instead we set out to have the papers ready and be sent in the first day we were able. We also found out we were expecting and the due date was November 15, 2010. I had written my letter to the first presidency, and also asked my ex-spouse in March to send a letter also. I gave his address to the Bishop to have a certified letter also sent requesting one. June came and went, and we still had not received a letter from him. As time continued to pass, we started to get extremely stressed and worried about the whole situation. November was approaching fast, and we still hadn’t received a letter from my ex.

We wanted more than anything to have our baby boy born in the covenant. We knew there was always the option of later being sealed but that complicated things for us. I had two kids with my previous marriage that Dustan has quickly become the father too, and the thought of being able to take our new baby into the temple to be sealed to us while the other two waited outside absolutely killed us! It was hard enough for him not to be able to have them sealed to him, let alone this. And then having to explain to the kids why they couldn’t be there, our hearts just ached. I kept up on the bishop and the ex. Dustan also wrote a letter and submitted it to the bishop. All we could do at the time was wait and continue to pray. We had done our part, and felt so helpless in the whole matter. It honestly felt as though everything was working against us, and hard.

Finally the last week in September enough was enough and we decided to go to the Stake President to see if there was anything more we could do. He gave us a list of each step necessary for the process; it was more than we had thought. Told us once the papers were submitted to the First Presidency, it took an additional 60-90 days, and that there was no way we would be able to go through before the baby was born. I left the office quite discouraged and decided I just needed to come to grips with it all. We had done our best, and prayed our hardest and there was nothing more we could do. My letter from my ex came a week later (it only took him seven months). We helped the bishop get things ready to send in, and he turned it all into President Summers a couple weeks later. President Summers informed us he sent out our paper work on October 16, 2010, and to keep in mind the process will take 60-90 days once it is received. Although we knew we weren’t going through before the baby was born, it was still a big relief the paperwork was finally sent.

On November 10, 2010 we received a call from our bishop asking us for our baby’s due date and if the baby had been born yet. He said that the paper work was being reviewed by the office of the first presidency. The next day, November 11, Dustan received a phone call from President Summers. A member from the First Presidency had just called him wanting to know if we had had our baby yet. We told him no, and he was quick to return the phone call to the first presidency. Dustan and I looked at each other with puzzled looks and the phone rang again. This time, President Summers explained to us that the First Presidency desired that we be sealed before the baby was born, and that the temple cancellation had been approved. President Summers asked if it would be possible to get to a temple and be sealed. We of course said yes, still puzzled and now in shock. President Summers once again called the first presidency back at told them that we would like to be sealed before the baby was born and we would do what we could to make it happen. At this point, Dustan and I were trying to grasp all that was going on. I told him if we really wanted to go it would have to be the very next day which was a Friday, because I had already been to the hospital once, with heavy contractions. President Summers called us back and asked us what Temple. We told him Manti but also that it would have to be the very next day. We decided the Manti temple would be our best option because it is still fairly close but also because Kadee knows the doctors at the hospital near there. I don’t think that’s what he was expecting. He then called the First Presidency back one more time to see if that was even possible. On the forth call it was set. In a matter of two hours we contacted the Manti Temple and set up a time and sealing room. The temple contacted the First Presidencies office and received oral approval for the clearance. We met with our bishop and President Summers to obtain our temple recommends. Our parents made arrangements to take off work. Both his parents and my mother’s recommends didn’t expire till the end of the month, and my dad tracked down his bishop and stake president to renew his. On November 12, 2010 Dustan and I were sealed together for Time and all Eternity in the Manti LDS temple. Ryker Dean Blair was born in the covenant on November 18, 2010.

I am touched by how much my Heavenly Father cares for and loves us. He hears each one of our prayers and answers each one according to His will in His own time. I am so grateful to the First Presidency for making the time for our family and soon-to-be born child, amongst all of their obligations and responsibilities. It’s amazing that “One” small families sealing, could be so important as to make a call and see that they get to the temple immediately and be sealed. Our new son has such a great spirit about him and we feel that Heavenly Father has special plans for him and our family. And with his help we can achieve anything and will continue to prepare ourselves and this family that we may all be instruments in His hands.

The Kids Loved Halloween! I can honestly say as cute as they are and as much fun as we had, I am thrilled the weekend long celebration is over!! After 2 Trunk or Treats and 3 Halloween Parties, the kids were okay taking Sunday off! And boy did we need a day of rest!

Pumpkins!

I absolutely LOVE Halloween! Definately one of my favorite times of the year!
Last week Chasee had a field trip and we got to go to story time at the Library and then to the Pumpkin Patch! She picked out a pumpkin for each member of the family! She picked the Biggest one out for Carter, and a great shaped smaller one for her self. Dad's was extra special. Not only was it the smallest one out there, It was white!! She thought the white ones were the neatest! Because she is little and I am huge, we could only carry one each back to the truck at a time. By the time we went back to get mine and Dustan's all the Big White ones were gone.

Last night for Family Home Evening we got to carve them! It was such a fun little stress reliever. Well needed for all of us!! Because the kids aren't old enough to cut, we let them dig out the insides, with their fingers of course, draw the face, and when that wasn't enough, we drug out what little paint I had. Can you guess what they chose to paint... To top off the night, Dad lit FIRE CRACKERS in them!

FAMILY

This year has been such an incredible year. So many things have happened in our family. Some Tragic, but most Wonderful, and even with the bad we have grown so strong and closer together. The kids and I are very blessed to have found Dustan, and I also consider him very blessed to have us. But there is no doubt in my mind that it was our Heavenly Father who brought us together. Nothing else can explain the turn of events that took place. The Lord has big things in mind for us.
The kids and Dustan have started school again. Carter now in Kindergarten, Scoring highest in his class in the STAR testing, at the first of the year. Chasee in her final year of PreSchool, taking on the role of the Mother in the classroom. Dustan is working as the Psychologist's Assistant for the District and he is also busy with his Master's Program this Fall.
As for me, I am finally able to be a Stay at Home Mother again. Yes, after two years of Running American Eagle and working at State Farm, we found a way for me to be home with the kids. Not the easiest thing for us to do, but by far the best thing for this family and most rewarding for me.
Come November who know's how we will all function and manage with Dustan working Full Time, School Full Time, and the new arrival of our little Ryker Dean Blair, I know somehow we will be carried through it.
I love our life, I love all that we are blessed with. And I am so grateful for all that we have. We all go through our struggles, trials, and testing periods, but what matters is what we do durring those times. As for me and my family, we turn to the Lord. Things that are unimaginable and seem inbearable, turn out to be the things that shape and pull us together, and for that I am so grateful.
I love my kids and my dear husband. We have an incredible family and are so excited for our soon to be addition.

Since Grandma and Grandpa Moore moved away from from us, the kids have missed them terribly! We lived with them for a year, kids spending almost every waking minute with them. It's been a rough move for all. We look forward to anytime we get with them and their cousins :)

A Wonderful Day at the Beach!

SEA WORLD!!
Carters favorite of course was the Sharks! Chasee's, Shamu!(we saw 2 shows) But I have to tell you the Shamu Rocks show with the fire works at night was Freakin Amazing!!

So I told Dustan I wanted a pet Star Fish and the Idiot (I say it with LOVE!!!) Picked one up! and said here you go honey. It was quite comical!

And this is when I locked us out of our room. My husband used his amazing skills to climb 2 stories to let us back in just to find out I locked the sliding door too. Ha ha. oops!

Can anyone say Thanksgiving Meal? I couldn't believe how big these geese were and how close they would let us get to them. Well... that is until Carter decided he wanted to ride them. I have never laughed so hard as I did watching him try to catch and then climb on them.

This year the kids got to be apart of Dustan's cousins wedding party. Chasee the beautiful flower girl. And Carter the goodlooking Ring Bearer. They absolutely loved it! Carter was ofcourse a little shy but he got through it! It was also our Anniversary.

Carter was absolutely amazing in tee ball this year! So much fun to watch but we decided instead of letting him play one more year we were going to put him up into coach pitch next year. He is just too good for it! Dustan got to be a coach and it was so nice to watch them work (play) together. Me and Chasee of course LOVED being the cheerleaders! He played all positions, 1st and Catcher his best in my opinion :) But of course his favorite was being CATCHER! Carter also had tonz of support from Nana and Pompa and Grandma and Grandpa.

Day Three of the Honeymoon

We decided this was going to be a full on relax day! We rented a bunch of redbox movies and layed in bed all morning watching them. It was really nice considering the weather outside was 110 degrees just in the morning. So we left the day wide open with no general plans, and nothing on our agenda. We layed out by the pool, napped off and on. and then when we finally got a little restless in the evening we decided it was time to go eat! We chose a beautiful place called the Rock Garden Grill. And I will tell you that it was the best service we have ever had! The tables had checker table clothe under the glass about ten minutes into it we noticed the large checker peiced off to the side and it was GAME ON! Now you have to take into account that Dustan is all about strategy. I WON!! He he he i was so proud and felt so smart!! We stayed there about an hour and a half the second game went on for ever and i ended up throwing it. ha ha ha little does he know.

And afterwards we drove around headed to target and notices a miniture golf course next to it. WOO WOO. and the rest of the night we Played arcade games and I will have to say i won 25% of the time and Lost by one point in 36 holes of minigolf! By far that was the funnest we had. Got a little competitive, saw the funand playful side of each other and just really had FUN!
Then came back to the resort to relax and finsh our movie!

The Honeymoon!!!

Wedding pictures will be displayed later. But for now I am blogging the wonderful Honeymoon trip as we go to share our moments with you and the kids while were away.
So far we have had a blast and I am finally understanding that a honeymoon is so vital to the first few days of your life together because its your turn to be real with one another and just play, bond, and come to understand each other. I am so amazed! And so in love with this man. And I love that every moment I have with him makes it more and more clear!
First night we stayed at the Clairion Inn. Then we were off to California!! And stayed in Arcadia at the Marriott.
Our first real day in Cali we hit up Aniheim and the Vietnese area. Which is where Dustan served his Mission. We also ate at his favorite vietanese resturaunt which i am very proud to say I tried everything and there was only one thing which i couldn't stomach ha ha so gross but he loves it and i love him so we ate there and we will eat there again!

Then Off to Laguna Beach! Which I can honestly say was one of the most refreshing scenes ever!

And now we are staying in Palm Springs! At a beautiful resort and loving every second of it!

how we met...

OKAY SO I HAD THIS CONVERSATION WITH A VERY DEAR FRIEND OF MINE AND DECIDED TO SAVE IT BECAUSE IT WAS THE STORY OF HOW DUSTAN AND I CAME TO BE TOGETHER... I HAVE BEEN ASKED SEVERAL TIMES TO SHARE THIS STORY AND i AM SO BAD AT DOING THESE THINGS BUT I JUST DECIDED TO POST THIS

WARNING SOME PARTS MIGHT GET A LITTLE INTENSE ha ha ha

honestly its so crazy how this guy came into my life and how things came together. we honestly believe there was divine intervention in our lives this last year. He is a returned missionary who is finished with his bachelors and working on his doctorate and never been married. ha ha my cute little virgin (i only say this because i have been married and have two kids) who is so amazing with this unbelievable testimony

well its kind of a funny story...
my dad is the institute director at the mesa state college
and really I was a bit bitter for being out here. Sometimes I work fifty to sixy hours some weeks.... but my job and how i got it is a mystery all on its own
but i came here
looking for a couple part time jobs to support us
and stumbled on the assistant manager job at American Eagle Outfitters

so i got the job because of my passed manager experience
and the manager LOVED me so with in a week i had it
about a month later she lets me know because she is so impressed with me she has decided to go elsewhere in management that had better oppertunities and i guess wanted me to be her successor...
i was in shock
so a few weeks later I guess I was running the business
by this point i had been going to the family ward with me kids and i was going crazy for lack of social life
I decided i would go to the dumb singles ward here at GJ
Making a huge joke out of it told my parents i was going to marry the first guy i saw there imagining some fatty sitting on the couch
of course i was running late so i walked in ... and at the exact moment he walked in the doors directly acrossed from me.

my first thought was wow! cute guys actually go to singles ward
h ah a ha
but wait
it gets better
I kid you not he was the only guy in that whole entire ward that didnt talk to me
and that was freaking annoying
because i was getting attention left and right and there was no way I was going to talk to him first!!
So i went home... my dad said any luck? ha ha and i told him to go find out what FHE group this Justin kid was in because i heard someone say his name in the halway (later i come to find out it was Dustan).
he came back and said there were a few justins and didnt know which one

ya so i just let that leave my mind
i rarely went to church because of the job but he was always there on the weeks i was but it didnt matter cause the idiot wouldnt talk to me anyway, he was just the cutie that always sat in front of me
plus i was anti getting involved for years again anyway
so bout 6 weeks passed and while working i noticed him walk in my store with his mommy! ha ha ha

thought it was the cutest thing ever! I finish all of what i was doing interviewing walked over as they were checking out, just to observe... sold him a crap load of more stuff. got a credit card and then came to find out he had previously worked there over holliday in the stockroom and we happend to need help this holiday in our stock room!
so i hired him on the spot!~
called him in the next day to work and he was so wonderful, always just a phone call away and would come running anytime i needed him
time went on
sparks started flying immediately
he happened to help me so much when i was so stressed

so i new there was alot going on but was so in denial
plus he was an associate and i wasn;t crossing the lines it was to unproffesioal

so.... he would bring me food knowing i hadnt eaten stay on floorsets alone with me till three oclock in the morning just so i would worry about getting things done
and one night around three i broke down in tears
i just was so overwhelmed
and he came over and decided to hold me. ... Gilly at that moment i knew i was in so much trouble!
just the passing by touching and stuff made me so excited but this feeling when he held me was so unbelievable
i swear i have never felt anything like it or could have even imagined something so powerful.
so i was scared but so in need of that feeling. We closed down shop once i got it together and i went home
a couple days later he wanted to go hang out and i agreed
.............SORRY! YOUR GETTING THE LONG VERSION! I WASNT GOING TO DO THIS!!!!!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>
so he insisted coming to pick me up at my house and i kept refusing cause that was too much like a date.

but being the gentleman that he is. he did anyway. it was late and after work... he knew most all of my drama as it was, so why he was still interested i dont know. But we just went for a drive and he took me to a place up on the monument that over looked the whole city and it was so beautiful
i was freezing so that gave him an excuse to hold me to keep me warm! Once again i am so enwrapped into this feeling but so amazingly scared of it all cause it had to be too good to be real.
it got really cold so we sat in his car and talked for ever and his hand came close and this whole time i had been just hoping he would kiss me because i wanted so much to know what it felt like

his hand came close so i took it and held it and that was all the sign he needed to go in for the kiss .... ha ha ha i have never felt such a thrill in my life! COme to find out I am only his 7th kiss. and he is 23 now 24. so after that i went home my dad asked how it was i said good. he said do you like him

i said too much
he asked what i ment and i said i did not know if i like him because he is too perfect too good! so i dont know. and his response was well that makes sence... a great looking guy who treats you well and is perfectly amazing ya i would question that one too... basically making fun of me!
oh well anyway

i tried to run but found it impossible he kept persuing and we came to the decision he had to quit. So we could date. so he did and one thing led to this and here we are
the funny thing is. is he was living in orem just graduated byu
and got into a fight with his brother which just never ever happend
decided to move home that day
didnt know why just felt it was ment to be that way

and that was the same week my parents moved me here
we both were going to our family ward the first month or so and we both decided to go to singles ward for the first time the exact same sunday
so it was both of our first times
both late

walking in the exact same time at opposite ends
ofcourse we were both stubborn and would talk to each other. but he went home told his parents about one really cute girl he saw
weeks later found out where i worked. asked his mommy to go with him shopping my store to check me out. The one girl from singles ward.
didnt want know if he should take the job cause he was interested in me
his mommy told him here was his chance to find out the reall me before making his decision
and that was that

Ok! So My Camera is in Dustans car and i can't post pictures just yet but soon! I just flew back from meetings in Denver and am enjoying what little of a day off I have... is there really such a thing as a day off?
Carter and Chasee are doing great! Carter is obsessed with Dinosaurs and is going to school here in Fruita'We are working with him in baseball right now even though he didn't join a team. We are so crazily busy right now and this summer is going to be even harder. But he is as tall as ever and i swear the kid keeps me broke cause he needs a new pair of longer pants every day.
Chasee is obsessed with Cinderella and anything pink! She is all girl!! Loves to get ready with mommy or grandma and LOVES to wear her dresses!! I decided to let her use lip gloss because usually it acts as glue and keeps her mouth sealed shut, vrs the hyperactive loud and consistant talker she is (wonder where she gets that from.....guilty) Right now we are trying to figure out a way to get her in school next year but honestly she is such a smarty pants its going to be next to impossible!!
I am still at AE and it is keeping me insanely busy but with the way things are am very happy I have the job I do. Yes as you all my have heard rumor, I am engaged. And he is absolutely wonderful to me and the kids! I will give more details on him later.
Dustan is working on his Masters and Doctorate while working as the school districts Psych Assistant.

The kids do travel to Utah to stay with Cole once or twice a month. They absolutely love those visits and he is dating a girl named April who Chasee has already claimed her as "My April" Its actually really cute and lucky that she treats them so good that they just love her back! Cole is working up in Saratoga Springs i believe at the Walmart. And is working his little butt off and stays so busy he is heart broken he doesn't get to see the kids as much as he wants to. Hopefully time will make it so he can be with them more.

Well I think that about sums everyone up! I am excited to be back on blogging and keeping in touch with my friends again. I just hope i dont slip and slack off again ha ha ha

ok ok ok so i know the world is annoyed because no one hears from me but I am really going to try this time! Swear it! Starting tomorrow!! Ha ha
